I was working from home today and found myself wanting something different for lunch, so I headed to Cafe Around the Corner to grab something to bring home. Their pictures on Facebook have had me salivating for days, so I knew it was time to try! And it did not disappoint.

I was working from home today and found myself wanting something different for lunch, so I headed to Cafe Around the Corner to grab something to bring home. Their pictures on Facebook have had me salivating for days, so I knew it was time to try! And it did not disappoint.
| This is a cute little place in the old Hub Diggity Dog location with about 5 or 6 tables. It's small but bright, and the owner seems to make everything by hand. I went with the Organic Veggie Sandwich with a side of the Watermelon, Blueberry and Goat Cheese salad. The sandwich was served hot, the veggies were fresh and the goat cheese oozed out with every bite. The salad was fresh, creamy, and minty - perfect for a pre-Fourth of July lunch. |  |
The menu also featured other sandwiches and a build-your-own salad menu. Be sure to check the Facebook page for the freshest meals and sides she's thrown together! Personally, I can't wait to try the goat's milk ice cream :)
