Andrew's Atomic Dogs is the newest "dog" spot in Spartanburg, and it is one worth trying!  You can find it on Union Street, across from Duncan Park - look for the red awning.

Inside, the space is small and the line was nearly out the door when we arrived! Be aware at the height of lunch hour that it might be difficult to get a table.  Also, full disclosure, either the air conditioner was broken or they don't have it hooked up yet.  It was quite warm inside, but not unbearable.  The menu was printed and passed down the line as folks ordered, and it took about 10-15 minutes for the food to come out.  They did a great job with the space, which has a quaint diner feel.
The menu is simple, with 4 dog choices - house dog, atomic dog, turkey dog and sausage dog.  Choose one, and add your own toppings.  A must-try is the atomic chili for sure!  It is a great combination of sweet and spicy.  The house chili is very similar, just without the spice, so it tends to be on the sweeter side.  Also on the sweeter side, the sweet tea - like syrupy sweet!
I tried the atomic dog (I love spice!) with cheese and the turkey dog with house chili, while the hubs got two house dogs with house chili, one with cheese and one with onions.  Add fries and onion rings and you have way too much for lunch, but it was all good.  The Facebook page advertises "fresh dipped and battered onion rings", but the ones I got looked a bit different.  Fries were pretty standard.
The food came out piping hot, and I love how loaded the dogs were with the toppings.  Great ratio of dog:bun:toppings.  The turkey dog was great too if you are looking for a lighter option!

Hot dogs can be a personal preference, just like burgers, so try Andrew's Atomic Dogs for yourself and let us know what you think!

Happy National Hot Dog Day! And if you want more Spartanburg Restaurant Reviews, look no further!

I came in for the first time last week and ordered two hot dogs. They were so delicious I came back the very next day and bought two more! Best hot dogs in South Carolina!

Andrew's Atomic Dogs now has a website (see link below) and the menu and prices are listed near the bottom. Also, the link on his website to your blog post needs to be corrected. Based on my sleuthing, it looks like the address link changed on your blog, so now the link on their website is null and void.
